Job Description

Outbound Mortgage Collections Salary: Up to 18k Based Bradford

My client is a market leader within the financial services industry; they are currently looking to expand their collections team at their state of the art head offices in Bradford.

Hours of work: 35 hours per week between Monday to Friday 8.00am - 8.00pm, Saturday & Sunday 9.00am - 5.00pm. (2 weekends per month either the Saturday or Sunday)

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: An excellent telephone manner Strong communication and negotiation skills Previous experience of working within Collections / Debt Recovery and or financial services Target driven focus to work Excellent attention to detail Be confident and display a positive can do attitude Well organised with the ability to priorities

JOB DETAILS: You will be the first point of contact for borrowers who have defaulted on their mortgage payments. You will be making outbound calls to these borrowers and negotiate arrears and establish suitable solutions using sound judgment and discretion to assess and decide on the best course of action. This is a heavily regulated industry and therefore you will need to ensure compliance with the regulatory principles of TCF and the Mortgage Code of Business.
